Plus, the bathhouse was clean and close by. The fire pit was nice, the picnic table, and the gravel driveway. It was easy to pull in and out of and the way that it was positioned made us feel like we had tons of privacy. Oh my goodness! The RV spots are the best that we have ever stayed at. Milo McIver State Park Estacada, Oregon 1 course We saw deer, squirrels, and a few rabbits. We call it "trapsing through the woods" and there is no better place to do that than at Watson Mill. There are many trails through the woods that are good for all ages. If you are looking to have some quality family time in a peaceful setting than this is the place for you.

We have visited Watson Mill State Park several times, each time better than the last. You will pass the ruins of a old hydro power plant. Rivermill Loop: This is an easy, relatively flat hike that’s just under 5 miles in length, one of the longest that you can do in McIver Park. We LOVED the hike to the bridge, about 6/10 of a mile. Dog Creek Loop Trail is one of the quicker hikes in Milo McIver State Park.

There is one shower on the lady’s side and two on the men’s. The hike up to the bath house is fine but it will get your heart pumping. There is a water spigot but it’s in an area with red clay near the entrance to the site so it’s messy. This site is best enjoyed in dry weather. Getting back up if it had been raining would probably not be guaranteed, so watch the weather carefully. The drive down is washed out a bit but a 2 wheel drive Tahoe handled it. There is a picnic table and a fire pit with a built in grill, but we cooked on our Coleman stove and charcoal grill mostly. Rushing water sound as there are some small rapids there. We had 2 tents but you could probably fit at least 4 or 5 comfortably on the site.
